***This position will be located in either Memphis, TN or Franklin, TN.***

The Support Specialist (SS) will receive and review closed commercial/consumer loan packages, assist Loan Closing Officer's (LCO's) in the preparation of commercial and consumer loan packages to include notes and collateral documents. Ensures packages are completed timely and are properly booked through the Commercial Loan System. The SS is also key in orchestrating and handling security and collateralization documents as they relate to loan closings.
The SS supports and contributes to the credit quality of First Tennessee. The SS maintains high standards of accuracy, thoroughness, efficiency and promptness in handling requests and projects a positive, professional image at all times. The SS adheres to bank policies and procedures and maintains confidentiality of client information.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
50% - LOAN DOCUMENTATION:
Prepare collateral documents for commercial and consumer loan packages utilizing internal systems. Ensure that packages are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the credit approval. Respond to routine questions and requests involving loan documentation. Identifies variances and assigns priority to requests/problems with guidance from supervisor.

30% - LOAN PROCESS:
Communicates and works as a team with the loan closing officers concerning loan requests. Reviews loan packages and books loans to ALS. Adhere to confidentiality. Provide assistance and guidance to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Resolve issues and problems as they arise ensuring supervisor is aware of situation. Ensure customer service & feedback is professional, accurate and timely. Executes all loans with the proper closing and booking and adherence to bank policies and procedures in a professional, accurate, and timely manner.

20% - ADMINISTRATION:
Answer telephones, composes and types correspondence and memos related to loan requests, prepare payment requests for department bills, maintains confidential files and performs other record keeping duties as required.
Ensures documentation and due diligence received is properly imaged to the file of record and ticklers/notifications are appropriately cleared.

HOURS:
Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM
Requirements
4 - 6 years directly related experience required with at least 2 years extensive banking experience and 1 year document knowledge and understanding included but not limited to document review and preparation. 6 - 8 years preferred with 2-3 years document experience including throrough knowledge and understanding of such documents.

Knowledge of First Tennessee loan policy and procedures
