Full time position in our substance abuse program.
A minimum of Master's degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, or family therapy or related field from an accredited institution is required.
Active LPC, LCPC, LSW or LCSW license in good standing in Illinois OR current CADC certification from IAODAPCA is required.
Educational degree, clinical licensure and/or experience must qualify individual for QMHP designation under Medicaid Rule 132.
Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and automobile for use on the job is required.
Experience in substance abuse assessment and diagnosing and experience in working with substance use disorders is required.
Experience in working with individuals with co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance abuse issues) is preferred.
Job Responsibilities include:
Completes ASAM Assessments and Treatment Plans.
Provides individual and group counseling for treatment plan clients.
Obtains and accurately interprets assessment data and develops impression according to the multi-axial system of the most recent DSM and ASAM criteria.
Manages a caseload of approximately of 15 to 20 clients.
Maintains production data of engaged clients receiving substance abuse treatment services.
Completes medical record documentation in written and/or electronic format in accordance with Agency guidelines.
