As a Account Manager and Business Development within our leadership, you will help to continually develop the results-driven initiatives that define our success and are transforming health care.

This position markets the Amerinet/Health Resource Services (HRS) purchasing program and other administrative programs to member facilities in an assigned region to generate a positive revenue stream for Virginia Mason.

Market to potential new clients through direct calling to leads generated by HRS business partners. Identify new account sales opportunities within assigned region by working with Regional Account Executives, vendors, and Amerinet.

Promote Amerinet contracts and services, and identify opportunities for a defined book of existing business. Understand and assess customer requirements. Increase utilization of the contract portfolio by monitoring and identifying the best possible contracts available to customer.

Develop and implement marketing plans to establish utilization and service goals for members including program education, customer in service, and other as requested. Assists members in utilization of the Amerinet program.

Provide support to HRS VP(s) and their Regional Account Executives. Contribute to the growth and performance of the region(s). Assist Regional Account Executives in prospecting new customers and qualifying those prospects. Analyze prospect purchasing data. Train Regional Account Executives on Amerinet products, services, and technologies.

Support accounts on a day to day basis with general account service, marketing programs, problem solving, reporting and analytics. Resolve member problems in a timely manner.

Monitor statistics and prepare monthly metric reports such as statistical analysis of sales and marketing data, sales projections and trending, lead response tracking, and other analytics.

Responsible for building and maintaining strong account relationships that lead to long term partnerships.

Solve problems and manage vendor relations.

Meet revenue targets.

Sales Administration & HRS office functions/duties when requested

This position requires a 4 year college degree in business, a related field or equivalent experience. A strong emphasis on service selling and customer service is required. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, customer service, organizational, time management, listening and leadership skills are required. The ability to work professionally and effectively with vendors. Presentation and meeting facilitation skills are required. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently. Must be goal and detail oriented. Ability to manage multiple, diverse projects and sales events simultaneously. Must have excellent research skills, tenacity and the ability to “think on your feet”. Ability to position solutions by thinking “out of the box” and creating opportunity where none may appear to exist .

Must develop an in-depth knowledge of Amerinet contracts, programs and services.

Occasional daily/overnight travel required.

A minimum of 3 years of selling experience preferred. A general knowledge of supply chain principles and a working knowledge of health care products preferred.
