Duties And Responsibilities & Minimum Requirements:

Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for assisting physician investigators in the Division of Wound Healing, Department of Plastic Surgery in conducting multiple clinical research studies and ensuring that all protocol requirements are met. Duties: Submit regulatory documents to sponsor and prepare protocol submissions to the IRB. Ensure the protocol compliance and all modifications are approved. Manage subject recruitment, consent, screening, and follow-up. Provide educational sessions for patient and family and clinical staff about study protocol, treatment and possible side effects. Monitor subject for adverse events and safety under the direction of the PI. Responsible for data collection and data entry. Requirements: Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with investigators and patients. Support interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. Attention to detail is critical and must be self-directed. Computer proficiency is essential. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University’s philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field with at least one-three years of related experience (research/medical/clinical). BLS certification preferred.
