Supervisor - Business Office Facility: Central Business Office Department: Central Business Office Location: Rogers, AR Vacancy Description: JOB SUMMARYResponsible for supervising the effort of Accounts Receivable management. Activelyparticipate in planning, organizing and decision making to meet the organizations objectives.Trend, report and analyze specified areas of the revenue cycle. Make independent decisionsthat will have a positive end result for the organization. Actively participate in continuous quality improvement.

Independently identify performance improvement plans. Effectively developindividual, departmental and organizational goals. Supervision of employees on day-to-dayfunctions as well as providing direction and support to promote professional growth ofemployees. Assumes responsibility for the recruitment and retention of qualified employees.Develops a productive work environment.

Performs duties and responsibilities in a mannerconsistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.SCOPEGeneral management of Patient Account Representatives, Billing Specialists, Billing Coordinators, Team Leads, Transaction Analysts, Correspondence Clerks, Data Specialists, Refund Analysts, Adjustment Analysts and Business Office Representatives.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1 Plans, organizes and directs the day-to-day operations of assigned departments.2 Supervises staff in daily functions and provides direction and support to promoteprofessional growth.3 Actively participates in planning, organizing and decision making to meetorganizational goals.4 Clearly establishes individual and departmental goals to achieve a significant andproductive end-result.5 Accepts overall ownership of specific areas of the revenue cycle. Analyzes informationand makes recommendations for continuous quality improvement; as well asindependently identify performance improvement plans.6 Conduct regularly scheduled departmental staff meetings to communicate on the overall work effectiveness.7 Provides leadership in problem solving and conflict-resolution with regards topersonnel and daily operations.8 Positive yet constructive communication with Clinic Managers on areas of opportunity(updates, issue resolution, revenue improvement, etc.) as well as a positive workingrelationship with clinic personnel, Clinic Managers and Clinic Directors. 9 Ability to effectively delegate tasks.10 Apprising CBO Manager and Director of Finance of personnel issues, operations ofassigned departments and clinic operations impacting revenue.11 Counseling and disciplinary actions taken when appropriate towards subordinates.12 Actively participates in employee evaluations and insures that employee productivityexpectations are met.13 Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to deal with patient issues in aprofessional manner.14 All other miscellaneous duties as assigned.THE ABOVE STATEMENTS ARE INTENDED TO DESCRIBE THE GENERAL NATURE AND LEVEL OF WORK BEING PERFORMED BY INDIVIDUALS ASSIGNED TO THIS JOB. Job Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIREDEducation: High School Graduate or equivalentExperience: Advanced knowledge of Excel, Windows and Microsoft Outlook. Above average computer skills.
