F42 Wet Etch Area Manager




Job Description: Reporting to the Fab 42 Plant Manager you will be responsible for managing a group of ~8-12 Engineering Group Leaders and 50-100 engineers and manufacturing techs tasked with on-going process/defect matching and performance improvement. You will be accountable for improving positive employee relations and all aspects of safety, quality, output capability and cost within your area of responsibility. In addition you will be required to lead VF wide improvement initiatives and build strong relationships with your peers on Fab 32 staff. You will be required to drive sustainable improvements through robust yield systems development. Ability to relocate to Portland for temporary training assignments from 6 months to a year as required by future technologies.


Qualifications: Candidates must have recent Fab engineering management experience in a 300mm facility and a detailed understanding of Fab process control systems and methodologies. Having a strong working relationship of technology transfers and working with PTD is considered a significant plus. Prior people management with strong MFT results are required and strong technical depth in process/yield engineering is a must. Candidates need to have demonstrated the ability to lead technical taskforces and resolve complex technical issues. Must hold a BS/MS degree in engineering or a related discipline and/or have demonstrated increasing levels of technical management responsibilities.
