A full time psychiatrist is needed to provide serivces in Child and Adolescent Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinics in Northeast Georgia. Will work in Gainesville, Dahlonega and Cumming.
Telemedicine is available to minimize travel between clinical locations.
*Will provide psychiatry services as well as medical assessment and treatment, development maintenance and supervision of medication and psychiatric/medical treatment policies and procedures.
Must be board certified or board eligible in psychiatry and licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
Must have experience in providing treatment to persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses, specifically children and adolescents.
The ideal candidate should have a clear understanding of the characteristics and problems of children/adolescents with severe and mental illness and be able to work independently through the various clnical locations.
Salary commensurate with education and experience -This position will have an on-call pay stipend included in salary.
