Works under supervision of the Education Director. Work involves researching, planning, developing, coordinating and presenting education and training to employees and other individuals and groups. Maintains records related to affiliations with schools and universities.
Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: Two years of work experience in developing and presenting
education/training courses. Skills: Extensive verbal and written communication skills needed in order to deliver
education that will motivate, convince and/or change behavior of participants. Understanding of adult learning
principles and methods. Experience with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.
Interpersonal Skills: Relates well with students, instructors, public and other staff members. Maintains
confidentiality. Physical Effort: Medium: involves maximum physical effort requirements of 50 pounds. Manual
dexterity. Ability to move around on foot. Hours of Work: Variable work hours – day shift. Evenings as need
arises. Other: Works under the following c onditions: Potential exposure to mechanical, chemical, electrical, and
infectious environmental hazards. Able to respond and perform effectively if an unforeseen educational need
arises and in stressful situations.
