Provides ongoing consultation and training to Comprehensive Home Based Services Contract Case Managers and Treatment Supervisors to ensure fidelity to the SafeCare model.

Office Based: Reports daily to assigned NorthCare office unless working in the field with or on behalf of an OCS family.

Under the supervision of the Program Manager/Senior Supervisor; provides ongoing training for case managers working in the Oklahoma Children’s Services program to ensure fidelity to the Ecobehavioral SAFECARE modules.

Ensure Contract Case Managers meet and maintain fidelity to the Ecobehavioral SAFECARE modules and implement modules as required:

Child Health

Home Safety

Parent-Child Bonding and Parent-Child Interaction

Provide and coordinate the initial training of the Ecobehavioral Model to all newly hired staff.

Track training of case managers so that each case manager is provided with training on a regular, consistent basis.

Accompany case managers on home visits and provide training via modeling, feedback, and consultation minimally twice monthly.

Formally meets minimally one time monthly with the supervisor of case managers to provide information, consultation and feedback about progress in training.

Attend training and meetings with the OUHSC Research Team as required to update skills and coordinate research.

Order and maintain all Ecobehavioral supplies including safety devices, health manuals, first aide kits, etc.

Submit a monthly consultation log to Program Manager/Senior Supervisor.

Submit a monthly spreadsheet to OUHSC Research Team.

Submit a quarterly report to OUHSC Research Team and Program Manager/Senior Supervisor.

Attend all NorthCare and Comprehensive Home Based Services meetings as required.

Utilize the outlook calendar to submit a weekly schedule to the supervisor which outlines scheduled appointments for the week. The schedule must include the consumer name and KK#, current address and telephone number. The provider must notify the supervisor of any alterations to schedule (cancellations, new appointments, missed appointments etc.).

Carry a cell phone at all times and must respond to all work related calls within 60 minutes of receiving a voice mail message and must read and respond to emails daily.

Abides by the agency policy on confidentiality and at all times and respects the integrity and confidentiality of the family.

Conduct services which are sensitive with respect to each family’s culture, ethnic origin, race, gender, religion, and sexual orientation.

Maintains office hours when not accompanying case managers to home visits, providing training or attending required meetings.

Position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related human services field. Previous work with parents is required as well as a good foundation in child development. Previous experience training or supervising others is desired, but not required. Preference given to applicants trained in the Ecobehavioral model and/or experience working in the Oklahoma Children Services programs.

Applicant must possess good organizational skills.

Must have good counseling skills, excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.

Previous experience working with domestic violence and substance abuse is desired but not required.

Must have dependable transportation. Must possess valid driver’s license and must maintain current automobile liability insurance and uninsured motorist coverage.

Must possess skill in MS Office software and intermediate general computer skills.

Casual professional dress required.

Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, and move about freely.

Must possess and maintain current CPR, First Aid and CAPE certifications; or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare.

Must have current (within past year) TB test; or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare.

Must have and/or complete training in PTSD and trauma.

Must have and/or complete Core Level Co-Occurring Training and Trauma Informed Training via NetSmartUniversity within 60 days of employment.

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively using the English language.

Due to nature of contract, candidates & employees must report to NorthCare any current or prior confirmed record of child abuse as an adult. Any such confirmed record must be reviewed by the NorthCare Executive Team for hiring approval or, for current employees, continued employment with NorthCare.
