The Investigation Team Manager is responsible for leading the quality investigation team which is accountable for performing investigations of quality related issues and the team accountable for performing investigations of consumer complaints. Will be responsible for working with operations and other quality groups to optimize both the quality and timeliness of investigations by building capability in the investigation team, establishing a “first response” approach to quality issues, building strong partnerships and technical support organizations to provide technical evaluation and input and helping eliminate root causes through strong root cause determination and CAPA execution. Ensuring this is done in full compliance with US-FDA, Canada and European Union GMP regulations.
This manager will be responsible for strengthening the investigation quality continuous improvement program to leverage learning from previous investigations and helping implement a certification program for investigators. Will also implement and maintain ongoing monitoring systems and procedures, to ensure a sustainable compliance with all company and customer quality requirements and standards.

Required Qualifications - All candidates must have:
Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in Life Science or Engineering.
Must have 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry leading similar work.
Must have experience in problem solving and conducting GMP related investigations
Must have excellent technical writing skills
Must have solid knowledge of the regulations governing pharmaceutical products.
Must have computer literate: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
Must have excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish.
Successful candidates will be willing to travel on the job both domestically and internationally.
With the Cayey plant being a 24 hour operation, this role requires abilitiy to work without restrictions, any day of the week or weekend and a variety of hours.
