The University of Florida is seeking nominations and applications for an academic physician within the Lung Transplant Section of the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, & Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine. This Division has 23 faculty and 12 fellows, has over $4m/yr in extra-mural funding, and is ranked 29th in the US News & World Report rankings of best hospital programs. The Division enjoys a strong national reputation for teaching, research, and patient care. We are seeking individuals who have demonstrated interest and experience in the lung transplant field. Clinical duties will include inpatient coverage related to Lung Transplant at UF & Shands Hospital and attending in Lung Transplant outpatient clinics.The successful candidate will receive salary commensurate with the individual†s training and experience. Opportunities for protected time and a start up package tailored to meet the needs of the academic endeavor are negotiable. A proven record of academic productivity is highly desirable. Options are for a full-time, tenure-accruing or clinical-teaching faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor depending on qualifications.
