What it means to be an Engineer here: As an engineer at Cloudability you will have a huge impact on the way that our service is designed, built and delivered to our users. We are looking for generalists with professional software engineering experience. This isn°t a quothere°s the spec, do thisquot type of a role.

Instead you will be an integral part of small teams that are tasked with designing and delivering parts of our platform as well as new features. We love solving problems - our focus areas surround handling big data, managing data quality " integrating vendor systems. Analytics is the core of our user experience - our goal is to help people understand their data. About Our Tech Stack Our goal is to build a highly scalable real-time stack related to cloud data collection, analytics, and visualization.

Our technology stack currently makes heavy use of Ruby, RoR, MySQL, Redis, and Javascript. We also use a variety of cloud infrastructure and platform services from AWS (EC2, S3, etc.), Heroku, and Rackspace. We strive to write high quality code that manages complexity so we can develop and iterate quickly. We also hold weekly engineering meetings to review code quality and continually optimize our test coverage.

Must Haves: ruby and git Ability to research problems and come up with solutions Perform ongoing bug verification, release testing AWS experience Deep understanding of relational data stores Nice To Haves: Understanding of NoSQL concepts Configuration Management/Automation tools (Chef/Puppet) JavaScript experience Good written skills What we°re offering: A competitive full-time salary and stock options.
