Looking for an experienced hospital sales executive with a proven track record of selling to the C-suite. Patient flow experience a plus but not required.

This position is within the Acute Care division, selling Patient Flow information systems to hospitals and health systems in a west-coast territory.

The primary purpose of your position is to effectively and efficiently manage the new sales and existing business relationships of Allscripts software and service solutions within your designated region to consistently exceed agreed upon business objectives.


Identify new business opportunities for Allscripts solutions within your region using mailings, phone contact and initial sales calls as appropriate to meet objectives.

Manage the strategic sales process including initial contact, qualification, project championship, discovery, executive sponsorship and contract negotiations from start through final close and hand-off to the implementation project team.

Manage the strategic business relationships for all existing hospital clients within your designated region to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and renewals.

Work closely with the Account Management team assigned to each hospital customer to ensure value is being received consistently from the Allscripts relationship.

Consistently meet or exceed sales objectives as established on an annual basis for your region.

Participate as requested in company meetings, hospital conferences or client forums.

Work with the EMG and program management teams to understand customer requirements and emerging market needs.

Job Requirements:
Idenfifying and managing all aspects of the sales process for net new patient flow sales business.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent training in business or sales


  • Experience:
o Typically requires 4 - 7 or more years experience in a hospital software sales environment.

o Proven track record of success in sales over a sustained period.

o Understanding of Healthcare or IT Industry

  • Travel Requirements:
o Overnight, out-of-town travel required. May be extensive depending upon territory or region
