The IBM Collaboration Solutions Design Group is seeking a talented product design co-op to join our highly creative UX design organization in IBM. You will collaborate with an extended user experience design team to bring real-world user perspectives to UI designs for rich client, web and mobile business applications. You will apply a variety of design methodologies to develop UI strategies, concepts, mock-ups, prototypes and visual artifacts for product implementation. The best candidate will have excellent graphic design skills, interaction design skills, and knowledge of current industry trends. Good communication and team work skills are a must. A design portfolio review required.
The applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student, with a major in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or HCI. Undergraduate students must be at the Junior or Senior year level (or equivalent). Specialization or coursework in human-computer interaction is highly desirable.
This co-op is for the Summer of 2013. The expectation is that the candidate will work 40 hours/week during typical business hours, located at the IBM Littleton software campus.
Wage: Dependent upon academic credentials.
