Mental Health Therapists-Contractor The Village Family Services -
North Hollywood, CA
LMFT, LCSW, PsyD and/or license eligible MFT to provide comprehensive assessments and ongoing therapeutic treatment services in the community for children and adolescents ages 3 to 21, as a part of the Mental Health or Wraparound team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Meet with clients, individuals and families, in home, school or office environment, and in group sessions to provide counseling services.
2.Provide therapeutic Interventions and follow the goals of treatment.
3.Assess clients for psychosocial, emotional, developmental, medical and educational needs.
4.Make appropriate referrals as needed.
5.Complete required documentation according to DMH standards in a timely manner.
6.Demonstrate empathy to work with children/families under stress.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Two or more years of direct practice experience working with children, adolescents and families.
2.Excellent assessment skills.
3.Strong time management and organizational skills.
4.Skilled in engaging, motivating and working with diverse individuals and groups to accomplish established goals.
5.Self-directed, efficient and effective in problem solving and managing multiple demands and objectives.
6.Ability to work as a part of a Team.
7.Knowledge of Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH) clinical paperwork preferred.
8.Evidence Based Practices knowledge preferred.

3.Must possess valid California Driver’s license and state required registration and insurance.
