Reading Hospital is currently recruiting for a Compensation Manager to oversee the Hospital’s compensation and performance management programs. The Compensation Manager will be responsible for regularly evaluating the compensation program for geographic and industry competitiveness. In addition, the Compensation Manager will evaluate jobs to determine appropriate compensation level including internal equity and external competitiveness as well as FLSA status. The Compensation Manager will also work with HR leadership to develop, implement and maintain compensation and performance management programs that support the growth of an organization through the recruitment and retention of talent. The Compensation Manager will lead compensation and performance management related projects and will report into the Director of Compensation, Benefits and HRIS.
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have a:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or a related field
a combination of education and experience.
Experience as a Compensation Analyst or Manager for a large organization with a wide variety of positions to include entry level, technical, professional and leadership positions. Prefer candidates who have compensation experience within Healthcare.
Demonstrated experience evaluating and developing compensation and performance management programs that support the growth and changing needs of an organization.
Demonstrated experience evaluating data to prepare sound compensation recommendations.
Experience developing and implementing incentive and executive compensation programs; experience in designing variable compensation programs..
Strong project management and data analysis skills.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a high sense of urgency environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
