Responsible for managing the post-sales processes through reporting team members. Coordinates the activities of a section or department with responsibility for: 1) liaison between customer and manufacturing, sales, field service, order processing and/or accounting to resolve status, production, delivery and billing inquiries; 2) review of warranty/DOA claims; 3) processing of customer returns and exchanges; 4) expediting of material/equipment purchase requests. Manages the product support, provides project management support and is the primary contact between logistics and external organizations for process development and implementation on the introduction and lifecycle support of company platforms and offers. Provides business case assumptions, defines logistics requirements, develops logistics support plans, reviews strategies and collaborates with material planners. Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s). Establishes operational objectives and assignments, and delegates assignments to subordinate managers. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several function areas, divisions, and/or customers. Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management. Provides solutions to a diverse range of complex problems. Typically requires 5 - 8 years experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
