Learns to evaluate programs for compliance with environmental laws, rules, and regulations and recommend monitoring and corrective/enforcement actions. This is the entry level for the Environmental Compliance job series. Incumbents in the job may require additional training or experience to attain full proficiency in some or all of the job responsibilities.
Minimum Training & Experience: Completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university which included at least 40 quarter hours, 27 semester hours of laboratory sciences Or Bachelor's degree in a directly related field Note: Some positions may substitute related experience for education on a year for year basis
Agency Specific Qualifications and/or Preferred Qualifications: Completion of a major in Environmental Health Science.
