Orientation
All approved applicants attend a two-day orientation class. Grand Island Express pays for your bus ticket to orientation and provides lodging and meals. You will also receive $150 per day while attending orientation.
During orientation you will:
Take a road test
Receive a DOT physical or have proof of current physical
Take a physical assessment
Take a pre-employment drug screen
Receive classroom training

Hiring Guidelines
Have a current Class A CDL; At least 23 years of age; No more than 4 jobs in the last 3 years; Pass company physical, physical assessment, and pre-employment drug test; No felonies within last 10 years; Have no major preventable accidents within the past year; Have no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years; Have no prior DWI or DUIs in the past 5 years; Meet DOT requirements; Fulfill physical demands of the job .
