Posting Date 02-11-2013 Requisition Number 465BR Job Title WG Supervisor Gas Dispatch Location South Service Center WG Business Unit Gas Operations No. of Positions 1 Job Duties Supervisor – Gas Dispatch will primarily be responsible for planning, allocating and making decisions on the scheduling of all Customer Operations Gas Field Services and Gas Dispatch resources (approximately 200 individuals). This includes: forecasting emergency volumes and workloads, assessing meter exchange, installation and investigation workload for all of We Energies Gas Operations and determining volume of customer letters to be mailed out for the scheduling of this work. Responsibilities also include developing and administering schedules for dispatch; including vacation and training; utilizing real time management systems and procedures; developing and improving processes related to real time work management and communications; monitoring daily customer appointments. The Supervisor – Gas Dispatch is also responsible for the training and qualification of Work Dispatchers in training which includes direct supervision and providing technical support; assisting with the operating procedures and development of all Gas Dispatch personnel. Other duties include rotation of On-Call Supervisor schedule, rotation of weekly supervisory duties, preparing weekly/ monthly reports; monthly meetings with direct reports. Education/Experience Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or equivalent preferred. Candidates that possess the experiential requirement in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Experience: Qualified candidates must demonstrate a sound technical knowledge of the gas distribution system, demonstrated effective leadership skills, team building and project management skills, and good communication skills. A minimum of 5 years' work experience in gas operations is desired. Experience in a training position, 3-5 years of experience with data analysis, resource allocation, etc. is highly desirable.
