Responsibilities :
Has the primary responsibility for identifying new technologies and best practices for analyzer applications Provides Analyzer Technical Assurance overview Develops long term improvement plans using best available technologies Understand CEMS/COMS requirements, State and Federal. Assure analyzer database is maintained Review spare parts list to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained and the correct items are in the storehouse. Assures compliance to approved CS equipment list, EGGS and other technical requirements. Drives the process of sharing analyzer knowledge across the company Acts as project Inspector for new or replacement analyzer installations, or assists Shell or contractor personnel assigned to analyzer projects as needed.
Maintain the analyzer equipment "Bad Actor" list and develop plans to improve performance. Provide off-hour support for duty assignments or other emergencies. Supports CSE's assigned to Production Areas on analyzer problems and issues. Works closely with the Analyzer Maintenance Group to identify problems and implement solutions to ongoing analyzer maintenance problems. Has a lead role in providing technical assistance to maintenance forces, with strong working relationships with Maintenance Supervisors/Foremen, Inspectors, and Crafts. Recommends upgrade solutions to systemic analyzer hardware problems. Mentors Production Engineers and Analyzer Discipline support staff regarding analyzer technology and issues. Works with operating departments to ensure that plant operators, foremen, process and production engineers, and CSE's understand function, capabilities and limitations of process analyzers.

Requirements :
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer Must have knowledge of analyzer technology and its application. Experience in the petrochemical industry is a plus. Must be knowledgeable on industry standards, codes, and regulations on field analyzers Must have a minimum ten (10) years experience in analyzer work of different varieties Must be proficient with EXCEL and WORD Additional Qualifications:
Must be willing to coach and train analyzer technicians Must have excellent communication skills Must have excellent time management skills Must have good organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills
