Job Summary:
Designing, developing, and managing the implementation and administration of policies and programs in the areas of compensation, training and development, recruiting and employee relations, health and safety and HRIS initiatives to enable the company to attract, retain and motivate a qualified and productive workforce.

Job Duties:
• Provides outstanding customer service
• Participate in the development, and execution of strategic HR initiatives in support of global business plans.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all business partner teams.
• Lead projects and tasks within all HR areas
• Participate in Workday HRIS initiatives and drive processes ensuring achievement of goals
• Develop and implement HR policies, programs, plans, and procedures
• Provide appropriate communications with the organization and promote employee understanding of programs, polices, and objectives along with fostering positive employee moral
• Establish and maintain an employee relations climate of trust and confidence
• Develop, implement, and drive the employee review and succession planning processes for assigned group.
• Lead global, company-wide initiatives, with an eye to increasing diversity of representation and perspective among employees and business markets
• Maintain leading edge knowledge of internal and external practices, tools, processes and communicate these best practices to the organization
• Participate in the corporate recruiting efforts in conjunction with global and diversity based initiatives and metrics

Job Requirements & Skills:
• 5-7 years experience
• Bachelors in Human Resources or equivalent required
• Works under general supervision
• Working knowledge of manufacturing and business initiatives
• Possesses and applies a strong knowledge base of generalist level HR concepts, practices and procedures
• A skilled change agent and relationship manager—applies these skill sets in assignments and activities
• Strong Communication Skills
• Familiarity with and ability to use HRIS tools. Workday preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to use communication and technology tools used within Remy International
• Comfortable working with highly sensitive personal and confidential information
• Credible resource for general HR and / or area of specialty
• • Requires proficiency in software applications: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
• Demonstrated talent assessment knowledge
• Proven Ability to manage functional leaders in HR and business matters.
• Knowledge and ability to utilize HRIS
• Possesses and has demonstrated success in applying HR concepts, practices and procedures
• A hands-on approach, ability to work as an integral part of the management team and engage with all levels of a highly matrixed organization is a must
• An understanding and ability to apply concepts in all areas of Human Resources including talent acquisition, training, organizational development, compensation, benefits, and government laws is a must
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills are required
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential
• Business acumen, strategic planning, organizational assessment, highly developed leadership skills and interpersonal skills are a must
• Demonstrated success in leading projects is required
