Basic Function: Implementation Specialists work as part of a team to ensure client satisfaction and retention through timely and efficient installation and conversion of ADP Employer Services products, features, or equipment. They utilize a combination of product knowledge, HR knowledge and project management skills to contribute to the team. They coordinate client training sessions. This position is focused on the implementation of new business as well as the transfer of existing Major account or Easypay clients.
Essential Responsibilities: - Conducts needs analysis to determine appropriate product/service requirements for new or existing clients. - Participates in project planning efforts which may involve one or more of the following: o Product configuration or adaptation to meet each client's needs o Functional design guidance, accommodation of client rules, plans or procedures o Client control information, pre- and post-implementation testing oversight o Analysis of custom reporting and/or system interface requirements - Participates in schedule development and monitoring and/or reporting the status to member of project team leadership - Oversees accurate and timely installation/conversion of ADP products through entire implementation cycle.
This may involve one or more of the following: o Assessing the appropriate method and identifying resources for the conversion of client data to ADP systems and software o Testing the product or overseeing the testing process o Consulting on the installation of client site software/equipment and coordinating technical support to resolve issues o Ensuring the successful "hand-off" to other ADP departments following implementation o Coordinating client training o Seeking client feedback on the products and service to maintain satisfaction level - At higher levels may have additional responsibilities such as: o Liaising with other ADP departments for sales opportunities or problem resolution Generic Skills: - Positive response to changes in work environment or tasks - Practices and promotes open communication - Values individual talents of team members - Views situations from multiple perspectives - Uses time and resources efficiently - Maintains focus and overcomes obstacles to complete work
This position will accomodate a work schedule from 10:30-7:30pm EST.
(Experience, Skills, Academic):
1-2 years business to business client service interface and basic project management skills - Implementation Specialist experience preferred with detailed product knowledge and broad functional area expertise - Aptitude with automated productivity tools a plus - Must be proficient in Autopay mainframe - EV4 familiarity a plus - Must be proficient using IBM compatible PCs with resultant working knowledge of various operating systems
