Allergan is a global, technology-driven multi-specialty health care company pursuing therapeutic advances to help patients live life to their fullest potential. In making this commitment, we work to develop an unparalleled level of insight into patients' wants and needs - and into the priorities and concerns of the medical specialists who treat them. To this end, we employ more than 50 percent of our work force in either research and development (R&D) or sales, ensuring our efforts are focused on innovation and our customers.
This opportunity is a part of Allergan’s updated field sales deployment structure tied to the recent acquisition of SkinMedica, Inc. in December 2012. By expanding our existing sales team into a larger sales team selling a synergistic product portfolio, Allergan will effectively add SkinMedica’s “physician dispensed” non-prescription aesthetic skin care products and prescription products to our existing portfolio to fuel future growth and solidify our leadership position in the topical aesthetics category. The successful candidate for this role will participate in a seamless transition for our customers, to position Allergan well for the upcoming launch of Lytera while also providing increased attention and effort on Latisse.
The Territory Manager position manages sales processes in an assigned geography for the Topical Aesthetics Product line in accordance with approved marketing plans. The focus will be on direct selling of products and executing pull through programs/events to patients. This is accomplished by utilizing and managing key resources and contributing with high performance selling teams to maximize coverage of Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, Aestheticians, Skin care clinicians and other key decision makers in targeted accounts within the assigned territory. The Territory Manager implements tactics as defined by marketing and sales plans and delivering sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers. Territory Managers will plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory accordingly. Increased product sales will result from the Territory Manager's effective selling and territory management efforts. Each market requires a high level of product knowledge and scientific credibility. Product sales will be driven by pull through patient events, execution, advertising, customer programs, APC programs, and speaker dinner programs. Use of free trade goods, product samples, as well as the custom print and T&E budgets is also critical. Administration of territory information and compliance to reporting and regulatory requirements is imperative. The Territory Manager is responsible for accelerating the adoption of our products while providing technical product and procedure expertise and the creation/implementation of focused programs and services. They will also provide practice management programs, technical expertise and knowledge to both internal/external customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
