This provides exceptional opportunities for our team to participate in wide variety of projects and activities.This Senior finance professional will work closely with the Group Chief Financial Officer and Group Executives on a daily basis. Responsibilities include but are not limited to collating and managing the Group's weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Profit & Loss forecasting and budgeting processes, plus other ad hoc projects as required. The position is very strategic in nature and involved in all aspects of Group activities ranging from sales to acquisitions. Some travel will be required between New York, London and Ipswich. The position reports directly to the New York based Group CFO and the Ipswich based Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
CPA and/or MBA degree with 4-6 years of experience in strategic accounting management with at least 2 years experience working in a large Accounting firm. Must have advanced knowledge of financial planning, profit and loss management, forecasting, budgets, working on weekly rolling forecasts and assembling information for Board Packs and meetings. Visionary capabilities while possessing the drive to complete tasks by immovable deadlines while not losing attention to detail. Confident with exceptional communications/presentations skills that allow effective communication with the finance staff at all levels in the company, Executive Leadership and outside parties. Strong IT skills and ideally working knowledge of Cognos Analyst and Contributor. Must be able to solve problems logically and clearly and have exceptional strategic leadership and managerial capabilities. Must be able to travel extensively.
