Sells energy products by making outbound sales calls to residential and commercial customers in various states.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Solicits and receives sales calls for energy product orders to and from residential and commercial customers, and explains product offered
Informs current and prospective customers of current promotions and new or upgraded products
Quotes prices and encourages customers to buy
Enters/updates customer information such as name and address, among others, into database system
Creates and completes verbal and written contracts
Utilizes lead generation techniques and methods
Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems
Prepares savings analysis for potential customers
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

High School diploma or GED required
1 year of phone sales experience in an outbound call center preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities
Ability to work varied shifts upon notice and to be available for shift changes and/or additional hours
Bilingual skills may be required at any time due to business needs (English-Spanish)
Ability to consistently achieve monthly sales goals

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
Knowledge of computer based systems including, but not limited to, Windows, Microsoft Office, and the internet
Ability to type at least 35 wpm
