The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is a bi-state public agency responsible for promoting transportation and commerce, operating some of the busiest and most important transportation links in the region including bridges, tunnels, bus terminals, airports, PATH, AirTrain systems, the NY/NJ seaport, and the WTC site.
The Port Authority is seeking a Physician for its Office of Medical Services, which includes weekends (part-time or full-time schedule) with flexible schedule during the week.
The Office of Medical Services delivers occupational health services that focus on providing a productive, safe and healthy workforce.
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing assessments in connection with work place injury evaluations, sick call evaluations, annual physical examinations, pre-placement physicals, and OSHA and federally required examinations. You will also respond to medical emergencies and provide health safety programs for Port Authority/PATH employees.
MD degree, board certified, or board eligible in internal medicine or occupational medicine
New York or New Jersey license.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Internal medicine or occupational medicine experience is preferred.
