The Clinical Applications Analyst will support clinical systems through all phases of the technology continuum, including planning, selection, transformation, implementation, activation, maintenance and support, with an emphasis on Patient Flow, Lab and other clinical systems as assigned. You will be responsible for creating project documents, tracking and analyzing information and providing detailed reports as needed. Responsibilities will also include problem identification, analysis and resolution, user training, maintaining system profiles and tables, and assisting in the implementation of new clinical applications. The ability to manage multiple tasks, analyze data, problem solve, prioritize, coordinate projects, and effectively communicate with all levels of hospital users is essential.

Qualifications :
The minimum educational requirement of a successful candidate is a Bachelors degree (e.g., BA, BS, BSN). A Master’s Degree (e.g., Nursing Informatics, MBA, MPA, MHA) and 2 to 3 years experience in a clinical setting or in the implementation and support of clinical computer applications and information systems is preferred. Clinical licensure (e.g. MT, RN) is desirable. Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project is required and Microsoft Visio is preferred.
