The Triage Care Specialist
serves as a customer service/clinical point person in the Emergency
Room
waiting area. Performs clinical functions to include data
collection
related to patient assessments and triage care, and reports findings
to a
licensed practitioner. Providing general customer service, answering
questions,
and communicating pertinent information to patients and guests, as
appropriate. Builds a good rapport with patients and guests to
enhance
their experience at the Emergency Room.

Located in the suburbs of Honolulu, the facility
is a 116-bed acute care, community-based hospital that offers the
residents of
the West Oahu community quality medical care

cardiac
catheterization program in West Oahu and the state’s only Retina
Center.

Requirements

Minimum

Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. Medical
terminology course. Current BLS/HCP card. One year
clinical experience and previous customer service experience in a
“high needs” environment.

Preferred:
Completion of critical care technician or

EMT program. EMT certification. One year CCT or EMT
experience.
