Need:
This Senior IT Project Management position will be responsible for leading a New Client project delivery (mid 2013) and may be asked to continue to participate in the planning and execution of the project (2013-2014). The Senior IT PM is accountable for the successful implementation of the solution through effective planning and execution throughout all phases of the SDLC. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing assigned resources, effectively tracking budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring and making adjustments/updates to detailed project plans, effectively leading and facilitating project meetings as well as proactively controlling project scope, risks and issues. This position is expected to provide timely status reports to all stakeholders and escalate issues to the Program Manager. Additionally, this position must effectively manage the projects across global locations and time zones and be able to travel internationally as needed.

Duties:
Identify, acquire, develop, and lead globally dispersed project teams (include remote development and testing teams)
Ensure project objectives/requirements are clear and agreed to by all stakeholders
Manage relationships with various technology and business groups to achieve project objectives
Ensure successful and timely completion of deliverables; track progress via MS Project
Identify and apply systematic quality activities to ensure that project employs all processes needed to meet Validation and Compliance requirements
Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis and monitoring; formulate risk mitigation strategies and recommend solutions
Manage the processes required to ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval, and ultimate disposition of project information and documentation necessary for successful communications across all stakeholders

Requirements:
8 + years of experience as a successful Information Technology Project Manager using structured, predictable processes
Experience with Electronic Document Management technologies REQUIRED
Deep understanding of the entire SDLC
Understanding of technology infrastructure
Demonstrated competency using MS Project to run projects
Ability to manage complex, multifunctional projects across multiple global locations
Proven ability to obtain results in a global, matrixed environment
Track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
Ability to see the interrelationship of a project across "the big picture" and understand its dependency on other projects in the program as required
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation abilities
Demonstrated success communicating across a variety of audiences, including business people and technologists (both up and down the organization)
Exceptional listening, problem solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills
Proven leadership abilities and emotional intelligence
Demonstrated success handling initiatives of high complexity and risk
Experience within the Pharma industry is a plus
Experience deploying GxP validated systems is a plus
Ability to travel (up to 25% domestic and international)
