The Technical Team Lead provides technical leadership and strategic technical direction for a team of software developers within an Agile environment The Lead is responsible for the design and development of software products and is deeply involved in the full product lifecycle of applications and their supporting data architecture This position sustains existing software products for growth and development of Revenue Cycle Technology Position Objectives 61607 Deliver quality software releases on time in an Agile environment 61607 Lead and coach the Software Development team in translating business needs into technical designs 61607 Lead implementation of software engineering best practices and identify needed improvements Essential Duties Responsibilities 1 Works with Product Management in executing Product Roadmaps 2 Interfaces with Release Management to ensure troublefree internal and external production deployments 3 Identifies crossteam dependenciesimpacts in planning both technical and procedural 4 Collaborates and transfers knowledge with stakeholders (QA Planning Service Sales) 5 Actively participates in ScrumAgile activities like planning and sizing 6 Provides support and guidance to developers seeking to develop novel solutions to business or technical problems 7 Works directly with support organizations as the prime technical contact 8 Leads the product development response to production issues 9 Identifies and resolve quality issues and technical debt early in the software design process 10 Troubleshoots and resolves functional and performance related issues 11 Provides application support by analyzing defects replicatingfixing defects and providing root cause analysis for defects 12 Seeks opportunities to incorporate new technologies into the product&rsquos technology stack when they can add value 13 Maintains a broad knowledge of emergent trends in software development platforms tools methodologies and their underlying principles 14 Serves as mentor for developers and coaches them on both hard and soft skills 15 Interviews technical job candidates as a priority activity providinging feedback and delivering hiring recommendations 16 Designs and implements software required to complete user stories and defects a Prototyping b Design and development (OO Design and effective use of Design patterns) c Debugging and Troubleshooting d Code review unit test coverage and continuous improvement 17 Ensure unit tests written for all new code 18 Provide input on MBOs for Software Development team members and provide information for the review process of team members 19 Actively participate in code reviews making sure proper design and scalability options were considered and implements 20 Work with the SW architects to implement the technological roadmap and vision into the productInsert technical user stories to the product backlog or have them inserted by the SMproduct owner Internal execution are communicated to management Minimum Qualifications Competencies 61607 BABS in Computer Science or related concentration 61607 Minimum 8+ years experience in Software Development 61607 Experience in developing software in an Agile environment a plus 61607 Demonstrated ability to develop large modules of software independently and rapidly 61607 Proven experience in Database DevelopmentData Warehouse projectsimplementation 61607 Proven leadership track record 61607 Demonstrated ability to work with other teams within an organization such as Quality Assurance Product Management and Technical support 61607 Demonstrated experience delivering competitive software products 61607 Experienced with WebWindows based Ntier database applications 61607 Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output 61607 Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products 61607 Required Technical skills adjust based on positionhiring needs NET
