Local manufacturer of health and beauty products is seeking a Component Material Inspector. This position is responsible for inspecting components and materials for conformance to company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Duties include setting material requirements and measuring, sampling, verifying, testing, inspecting, and approving each material. This position also involves completing appropriate documentation, rejecting defective materials, and understanding specifications, product drawings, and material notes.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required. Applicants must have one to three years’ experience with laboratory procedures and analytical instrumentation. Excellent written and verbal skills are required and problem solving skills are a must. Applicants need the ability to multi-task and meet timeline expectations and must be proficient with MS Office and cGMP/cGLP. Wages are based on experience and benefits are available.
