The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance of configuration baselines, including hardware and software, for all engineering documentation in a manufacturing environment. The CM Specialist will provide interface support to operations personnel and strategic program management to ensure change control is accomplished in accordance with approved internal procedures and industry best practices.
In addition, you will:
Act as chairperson for Configuration Control Board (CCB)
Generate Meeting Agenda / Minutes
Process and monitor engineering changes
Evaluate / implement Design & Bill of Material changes and coordinate the introduction of the change within engineering and manufacturing environment
Act as the technical point of contact for day-to-day activities related to processing both hardware and software assets
Assist in the identification, assessment, and resolution of complex issues / problems
Update Bills of Materials
Conduct Configuration Status Accounting Reporting (CSAR) for all product lines
Provide back-up support for Product Manager (PM) / Data Managers for Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL) and other Configuration Management (CM) / Data Management (DM) duties
Support reviews, Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) / Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), and Change Control Board Integrated Business Process & Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM) in support of Program CM and DM
Monitor and update data in company Product Data Management (PDM) / Manufacturing Requirements Plan (MRP) environment
Support Physical / Functional Configuration Audits
Support CM Supervisor as required
Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Discipline (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and implementing Configuration Programs / Processes involving technology in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment)
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Military Standard 973, EIA-649, Mil-HDBK-61, and Software Engineering Institute (SEI) CMM standards
Experience working in Windchill or other Product Data Management (PDM) tool
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Military CM standards, Windchill, or other Product Lifecycle Management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to handle multiple high priority items simultaneously
Demonstrated initiative, good judgment, and the ability to achieve results through others
Experience in an aerospace electronics manufacturing environment
