Essential Job Functions:

  • Research accounting and financial reporting issues to determine impact on the company.
  • Assist in adoption of new accounting pronouncements by the FASB, SEC and IASB to determine impact on the Company, includes monitoring convergence efforts with IASB and conversion to IFRS.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the Company’s 10-Q/ 10-K filings.
  • Assist with the drafting of the Company’s 10-Q/ 10-K filings and quarterly earnings releases.
  • Provide benchmarking research on peer group companies regarding the application of accounting standards and financial statement disclosures.
  • Maintain/update accounting policies and assist divisions with the implementation of policies.
  • Assist with accounting and financial reporting of share-based compensation.
  • Assist with special projects, including acquisition related activity.

  • Basic Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:
    1. Strong background in application and research of GAAP.
    2. Experience with preparation/ review of SEC filings.
    3. Ability to apply creative thinking, sound reasoning and critical judgment.
    4. Strong oral and written communication skills.
    5. Ability to present and interface effectively with senior management.

    Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.

  • Education and/or Experience:

    Education and/or Experience:

  • 5+ years Big 4 experience or a mix of Big 4/ multi-national company experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting. MBA a plus.
  • Designation of certified public accountant.
