Currently we have an exceptional opening for a District Sales Manager in the Midwest region. Qualified candidates can reside in the Michigan or Northern Ohio areas.
As a DM within the Humanities & Social Sciences group, you will be responsible for strategically driving sales, meeting sales and editorial goals, recruiting and developing new sales people and developing and leading a team of sales representatives calling on colleges and universities. You will work in conjunction with colleagues in editorial, marketing, sales programs, and Custom Publishing to achieve your goals. A District Manager is also responsible for analysis, planning, and financial management.
Qualifications include an undergraduate college degree, 3-5 years of experience in college publishing. This experience should include a record of exceptional performance, strong communication, analytical, organizational, and account-development skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead.
