The CT Technologist is responsible for performing both CT procedures and X-Ray Procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative. This position works at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Work situations are a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in order to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. The CT Technologist has knowledge and understanding of age related care needs for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. External contacts include patients, family members, and physicians. Internal contacts include nursing service staff and management.
Previous knowledge of and/or experience in computerized tomography desirable
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiology)
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) preferred
Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health, Radiologic Technologist
HCA as relevant to department at time of hire/transfer
Position is .6 FTE work in CT and .3FTE work in Xray
