Qualifications: Requires high school education or equivalent and 4-6 years of administrative experience preferably within the financial services or related industry.
Must be able to type 45-55 wpm.
Must possess strong organizational skills as well as the flexibility to take on new tasks.
Must have excellent grammar, spelling, word processing and intermediate math skills.
Position requires tact, strong interpersonal skills as well as a high degree of confidentiality and integrity as this person will be handling sensitive information.
Must be able to work independently with little direction
Prefer strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite specifically with Word and Excel.
Interest in economic markets helpful but not required.

Some of the main responsibilities in this role include:
Strategic travel planning as well as email and calendar management for the Managing Director and Portfolio teams
Assisting with the creation and organization of presentation materials as well as other department-specific information.
Providing administrative support to the department including meeting planning, expense processing and as well as ad hoc needs.
Provide ad hoc reporting and analytical support to decision making bodies.
Maintaining various department processes including the ordering of supplies, keeping files organized and up to date as well as other miscellaneous department needs.
