Alabama State University, Academic Affairs/Records and Registration, invites application for the position of Staff Associate. The successful applicant will assist the Director of Records and Registration with planning, organizing, and implementing all aspects of student registration and grade processing; develop and recommend policies and procedures pertaining to student registration; prepare registration instructions, create and distributes course list to each department for each semester; update course list and maintain records of changes; post course book on Hornets’ Web each semester; assist students with course registration; process overload and override forms in accordance with course catalog and curriculum; enter courses and course credits for transfer student; answer phone calls and greet guests and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with one year of computerized student record systems experience, working knowledge of computerized student registration at the college or university level and one year of general office experience are required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
