This role requires deep experience managing search-related marketing programs across all major platforms around the world.

The Senior Director, Online Marketing will be responsible for making easy to find for both job seekers and employers. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing traffic acquisition for one of the largest consumer sites on the web. We are looking for someone who will relish the challenge of bringing Indeed to every job seeker in the world, even in markets with deeply entrenched local competitors.

This position requires deep experience managing traffic acquisition for a large, global Internet brand. This role will be based in our Austin, TX office.

  • Set traffic acquisition priorities and goals
  • Grow traffic through a variety of channels, including search, social, app stores, and display
  • Identifying new traffic acquisition opportunities
  • Traffic analysis including valuation and engagement
  • Mentoring, improving, and growing the team
  • Work cross functionally with other teams
  • Thought leadership on traffic acquisition within the company

  • Large scale, consumer traffic acquisition website experience through search marketing
  • Experience managing expansive, sophisticated, multilingual, and multi-country Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns
  • Proven experience driving large, multi-million visitors organic search campaigns across multiple countries and search engines
  • Experience with testing and competitive analysis in SEO and SEM
  • Strong technical knowledge of online marketing
  • Communicate effectively with functionally and geographically diverse teams
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative ability
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies is a plus
