Oversees all graphic design projects with the South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS). Develops innovative and creative new designs for the SCDPS web site, agency newsletter and other printed materials. Produces comprehensive drawings, illustrations and computer-generated graphics. Produces accurate/quality printed material. Manages social media sites including Facebook, Twitter and Nixle. Performs other related duties assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and two (2) years experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material with at least two (2) years of experience related to design and web page development. Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and software, particularly Adobe Software. Working knowledge and understanding of current trends and techniques for graphics design, web, mobile web, and UI design. Ability to create UI designs for new departmental applications for web and mobile web.
