The Senior Marketing Analyst drives the development of tools and analytics to provide and present market data; identifying trends and making recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness for Molecular Diagnostics . This individual contributor position provides leadership across marketing to accomplish strategic and tactical business objectives by providing data, research, and market analysis. Accountabilities include supporting the manager/director in executing strategies and tactics, Annual Operating Plan process, cycle and business review meetings, resource management, and developing business area knowledge. Works with local departments to manage and support programs to ensure success of the portfolio in the market. Specialized and in-depth comprehensive knowledge and experience in a particular field, or business area.
Duties are varied and complex often involving the utilization of statistical and financial analysis to provide guidance on marketing effectiveness, sales, and competitive trends. This includes research, analysis and solution development and the ability to access internal & external systems to develop useable data. Provides direction on issues of area of expertise and assist department leadership in setting strategic direction. Typically a higher level professional position. Requires the regular use of originality and ingenuity. Possesses and applies financial, statistical and IT acumen and is the subject matter expert. Plans, conducts and oversees work involving the largest and most important/complex projects. Does not supervise but provides direction to team on projects and assignments. Works with minimum supervision. Reviews progress with management.
Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Communications, or related field. MBA preferred.
Have 5 years of marketing, business, sales or related business experience.
Have 3 years progressive Marketing metrics and/or revenue forecasting, preferred.
Have 3 years experience with designing and implementing marketing automation solutions, preferred.
Have expert understanding of practices and principles of statistics, research and analysis, pricing analysis and/or forecasting.
Have strong project management skills.
Have strong team leadership skills.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Have ability to manage multiple projects.
Are proficient utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Access, SQL server or knowledge of similar database systems.
