Manage all route sales execution activities within assigned district. Establish route sales goals and objectives for assigned district. Coach, train, develop RRM and provide leadership. Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers within the assigned district and grow sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all route sales execution activities and expenses within assigned district.
Manage route structure to assure optimum effectiveness
Grow Branded Sales
Develop market strategies for increasing market share
Solicit new business
Manage unauthorized and past due accounts.
Call on and develop relationships with store management in accounts.
Manage district in order to achieve AOP Goals
Ensure proper ordering procedures are followed.
Manage rack sets according to plan-o-grams.
Ride routes and coach during work withs.
Assist in recruiting, interviewing, selection and training of new RSR.
Maintain a safe work environment, through safety training, housekeeping in depot and route truck, compliance and follow through.
Ensure compliance with all Sara Lee policies, rules and procedures.
Ensure execution of the playbook promotions.
Initiate disciplinary procedures when necessary
Minimum High School Diploma
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum two years of sales management experience
Must possess a valid drivers license
Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card
Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Must have good communication skills both oral and written.
Must possess good organizational skills.
Must act with integrity.
Must be inclusive in building diverse teams.
Must be a team player and have a passion to excel
Must possess leadership skills.
Must be competent in MicroSoft Office products.
