This role will be responsible for the overall tax strategy within GE Working Capital Solutions, globally.
Execute on the tax strategy, establish tax policies and procedures consistent with other GE units.
Develop objectives for and approve tax planning and compliance programs.
Work with leaders to implement tax initiatives and strategy.
Act as key contact for other functional teams and external parties.
Supervise and manage direct report(s).
Minimum 7 years of Professional Tax experience.
Experience managing projects.
Prior leadership experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Juris Doctorate, Masters of Taxation or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent certification.
Experience working in a major accounting firm, law firm, or multinational company.
Financial Services Industry experience.
Experience interpreting technical US tax rules governing outbound investment, Subpart F and US foreign tax credits.
Public accounting experience.
Ability to work cross functionally.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
Financial Management Program (FMP) grad or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) grad (For Internal Candidates).
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
