MAJOR JOB DUTIES:
Plans, organizes, and overseas the activities of the Material Production Support Center
Explains performance expectations to subordinates supervisors and employees directly supervised and provides regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses.
Provides advice to production managers and the Fixer, representing the organization in all manners of production logistical support by participating in conference and technical meetings.
Provides implementation and developmental corrective actions and prepares responses to deficiencies and discrepancies identified.

At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-11) or equivalent. Specialized experience must include serving
as the material production support center chief whose sole responsibility is to provide logistical support from the initial negotiations with the supply chain managers for production workloads until the end item is returned to the customer.

1. Knowledge of personnel management policies, practices, and procedures.

3. Knowledge and skill in applying quality principles, practices, methods and procedures.
4. Knowledge of industrial production processes including production planning, scheduling, and material storage/distribution, as well as production materials and methods
5. Ability to stratify resources against approved programs; to plan, present, and execute budgets; to analyze budget impacts on programs; and to forecast long-term funding requirements.
6. Knowledge of commonly applied inventory management principles of established supply systems, acquisition processes, storage, issue receipts, and disposal techniques
