We have an immediate opportunity for a temporary Human Resources Project Intern at our Dallas terminal located in Grand Prairie, TX. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): The HR Project Assistant will support Human Resources by identifying and scanning progressive discipline files into the electronic system for Saia's online progressive discipline program. Under the general supervision of the Regional Human Resources Manager: Reviews terminal employee personnel files and identifies progressive discipline documentation. Performs data entry of document descriptions into online progressive discipline program. Scans documents into imaging files and insures files were successfully received. May perform other related tasks as required. Travel is required to complete tasks at multiple terminals within a region. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:Must be able to work independently. Ability to successfully juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, attention to details, and adherence to policies and procedures. Must possess a high degree of organization, coordination, advanced follow-up skills. Must have ability to provide administrative office support involving sensitive and confidential information. Must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills. Must have a basic understanding of record keeping and filing.Must be able to travel to terminal locations.
