Responsibilities :
Supports and applies the safety process to daily work activities. Assists in troubleshooting problems on equipment and provides recommendations on repairs required Provides support to Area Maintenance Team Leads in area of reactive maintenance. Reviews, improves, and develops maintenance procedures. Work with engineering on instrument related items. Coordinates efforts to procure unique equipment parts. Participates on RCFA and Rework Investigations and tracks assigned action items until completion. Actively participate in reliability issues assigned by Production teams. Assist Projects and T/A groups with Instrumentation jobs. Confirm Instrument equipment is installed in accordance with Shell EGGS, industry standards, and National Electric codes. Assist in meeting PAR 100% Compliance Goal. Report progress of jobs weekly or sooner if needed. Complete assigned MOC recommendations and action items on time. Increased reliability on Bad Actors. Review technical content of work performed by crafts. Verification that spare parts are being improved and maintained. Improved work procedures. Improved spare parts availability on critical equipment. Become the local expert on technical pieces of equipment and supply expertise to field crafts Verification that work procedures are being followed and training pursued to improve work performance. Provide direction to improve the work and work products including changes in work practices, materials, training, etc. justified by evaluating the costs and benefits.

Requirements :
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer Working knowledge of all field instrumentation with ten (10) years experience as a technician rated first class Knowledgeable in any of these is a plus: Honeywell DCS, 3000, 2000, and Experion, Triconex, Allen/Bradley PLC's, and Fieldbus. Two year degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or Computer networking with instrumentation background is preferred Must have proficiency with EXCEL and WORD
Additional Skills: Excellent communication skills Must be willing to coach and train instrument technicians Excellent time management skills Good organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills
