About Jana Facebook Team:
With the completion of 0.facebook.com deals throughout the developing world, Facebook has become popular amongst mobile phone users in emerging markets. These are exactly the types of individuals we are looking to engage, and we are looking to experiment with Facebook apps as a way to do so.
Role:
We are seeking a web developer specifically familiar with the Facebook API to join our team. You will work out of our SF office with our technical team there, reporting to the company's CTO.
Our one hard requirement is that you *already* have experience working on a Facebook app with reasonable popularity. Beyond that, our ideal candidate is someone who:
Has experience with issues of internationalization
Considers themselves a "full stack" developer
Can prototype new ideas rapidly
Has experience working through A/B testing issues
Has knowledge of some part of the developing world (Asia, Africa, South America, Middle East)
Has experience working on mobile websites
