Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Water Asset Manager located in Moon Township, PA through February 27, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
The Water Asset Manager will primarily be responsible for capital projects associated with water tank asset deployment as well as water reuse, logistics and acquisition management. The team is responsible for developing and executing the new tank-based operating model, completing well pad construction where tanks are needed and managing all aspects of the hydraulic fracturing water life cycle.
Position Details:
Focus areas include but are not limited to:
TRITON Tank Asset Deployment
Provide management and technology oversight to define water management strategy for the business unit. This includes water acquisition, reuse, hauling and distribution system design
Provide leadership and oversight to water management team enabling unit to conduct hydraulic fracturing and production operations including; reuse water management, fresh water supply, flowback water management, production brine management and mine pool opportunity definition
Develop AFE modeling tools and KPI/reliability measures to track business unit performance and create a continuous improvement culture
Water Reuse Management
Responsible for managing technical issues and reducing costs associated with closed loop drill cuttings management spend
Implement award winning, patent pending water reuse technology
Deploy fracturing fluid chemistry that results in superior well production, compatability with water reuse requirements and minimal MSDS section 2 hazards while staying in full regulatory compliance
Water Logistics Management
Responsible for managing thousands of truckloads of water per month to support multiple fracturing crews, water transfer operations, TRITON tank integration, water source operations, traffic control, brine water disposal and reuse, drilling water disposal and reuse and road maintenance
Manage a multi-million dollar freight and contractor budget
Water Acquisition Management
Responsible for sourcing millions of gallons of water per day to serve fracturing operations that occur in multiple counties and states
Manage construction of multiple fresh water sourcing and storage capital projects including land acquisition, permitting, regulatory reporting and construction interfaces
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of hydraulic fracturing and well pad construction is a must
Project management and supervisory experience is required
Construction experience in a strict health, enviroment and safety environment is necessary
CSOC certification
Advanced project management skills demonstrated from initiation through execution of projects
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, negotiate and execute
Demonstrated ability to work with broad range of functional disciplines and levels of the organization.
Fosters cooperation and collaboration among individuals including employees and contractors
Extensive local and regional travel may be required depending on project specific needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of state environmental departments and requirements
Knowledge of crane operations
Familiar with production and water treatment chemistry and water treating equipment technology
