Responsibilities :
Responsible for the technical assurance, leadership, and performance of rotating equipment in operating refinery units.
Works with the production teams to ensure the integrity, reliability, and sustainability of all the mechanical assets associated with rotating equipment.
Provides decision support for the production teams and maintenance teams for equipment testing, "troubleshooting", routine equipment surveillance, startup activities, and training on all rotating equipment.
The expected result is the implementation of permanent solutions to equipment system problems at lowest cost and compliant with industry and regulatory requirements.
Develop long range plans for machinery overhaul through performance evaluations on the equipment.
Develop and review scopes for Turnaround repairs and overhauls for rotating equipment.
Leads or supports root cause analysis investigations, solution development, and risk Assessments.
Performs Management of Change reviews to ensure safe operation and design of equipment and related changes.
Applies engineering technology to improve safety and environmental related issues.
Proactive professional development expected in the mechanical engineering field through seminars, conferences, and formal training.

Requirements :
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Minimum three (3) years of experience with pumps, general purpose turbines, special purpose turbines, gas turbine generators, fans, compressors (centrifugal and reciprocating), and other rotating equipment.
