World Wide Technology Inc., a rapidly growing, e-Business solutions provider currently has an opportunity available for a CCIE (or equivalent) Consulting Systems Engineer supporting the State and Local government (SLED) business for our Federal Southeast team. Qualified candidates should be located in Tampa, FL. This position is responsible for technical Pre-Sales Consulting Systems Engineering, assisting in developing statements of work, network design, assembling bill of materials, and attending business appointments with Sales Representatives.
Qualified candidate should have 5 to 7 years of hands-on Cisco experience. Strong Security (ASA, Cisco Security Agent, NAC, VPN's), experience is required. Unified Communications (Call Manager, Unity, MeetingPlace, IPCC Express) and/or Wireless experience (Cisco) are preferred. 25% to 50% travel may be required. Previous experience supporting State and Local Government customers is strongly preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, product demonstration, customer service skills, and presentation skills required. Position often consists of a blend of 80% Pre-Sales and 20% Post-Sales or Quality Assurance work. Similar experience with a Cisco Gold Partner is preferred.
